Making sure work is carried out to the client’s standards

Clerks of Works (COW), also known as Site Inspectors, Site Supervisors or Building Quality Officers, monitor the delivery of work on behalf of the client.
Their main responsibility is to make sure that work is carried out to the agreed standard, specification and schedule so that the client is given quality work and value for money.

We have significant experience providing Clerk of Work services. We excel when we are contracted to master the project’s specification from the start of the pre-construction phase. We are then on site as much as necessary during the construction phase, providing comprehensive and unambiguous reports.

Our role also extends during the post-construction phase and defect liability period to undertake inspections and report on defects or remedial works required.

Our Clerk of Works team lead has more than 15 years of on-site experience, is MCOIB accredited and is fully trained through the Institute of Clerks of Works and Construction Inspectorate (ICWCI).
