Addressing elemental condition issues
The Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) is an annual bidding round accessible to Academies, small Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs), Sixth Form Colleges and VA Schools.The majority of this capital fund is available to address elemental condition issues however a proportion is also available for expansion projects. The Department of Education (DfE) is expected to announce the next funding round of Condition Improvement Fund at the end of the summer 2021. Based on previous years’ experience, once opened applications will need to be made in October/November 2021 with the deadline for submissions in mid-December 2021. Successful projects will be announced in Spring 2022.
