Academies and sixth-form colleges
that are eligible for main round CIF funding, are also eligible for UCS (Urgent Capital Support).Applications for UCS should only be made when an eligible school has urgent need to address condition issues. The DfE class issues as ‘urgent; if they jeopardise either, the health and safety of pupils and/or threatens the closure of the whole, or a significant part of, the school.
